Solution:

The general form of complete quadratic equation is ax²+bx+c=0

Where, Sum of the roots, α+β =-b/a

Here, the given equation x²-5x+6=0

So, the value of a=1, b=-5, α=2, β=?

α+β = -b/a

2+ β = 1/(−5)

β =5−2

β =3

So, the other root is 3.
