There are many factors that influence the environment, Temperature, humidity, air, soil, solar radiation are some factors that affect life forms and environment. As long as these factors vary or changes within certain limits, life can maintain itself and grow. Such factors may be of biological or non-biological. They are known as abiotic and biotic factors.
While man can live almost anywhere in the biosphere using his brain and tools, all other animal live in certain areas that can meet the conditions and factors needed for their survival and growth. Obviously all factors have certain limits. A specified environment may meet the needs of a community of life forms. Such an environment, including its physical factors and life froms inhabiting it together is known as an ecosystem. The life forms inhabiting an ecosystem are called biomes.
