P(x, y) is a point equidistant from the points A(4, 3) and B(3, 4). Prove that x − y = 0.

PA2 = PB2 

⟹ (x − 4)2 + (y − 3)2 = (x − 3)2 + (y − 4)

⟹ x = y  or  x − y = 0
